Early in life, Anne learned about the power of giving back. In high school, Anne volunteered at DC Village, a city-run nursing home in Southeast Washington. There she met Shirley, a wonderful older woman, starved for a human connection. On Sunday mornings, when Anne visited, Shirley's eyes lit up and her spirits soared. As the years have gone by Anne has consistently found ways to stay engaged in her communities both personally and professionally. Whether she is making sure the real estate community is maintaining its integrity and credibility by serving on Professional Standards for the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors or donating and raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help find treatments and cures; Anne is always willing to roll up her sleeves for the good of her community.
